PRIVACY POLICY

How we handle your data.

Short version: this site has no contact form, no account system and no tracking cookies. The section below explains exactly what that means in practice.

Who we are

Pulsar Media Sàrl, Route de Chevrens 33a, 1247 Anières, Switzerland, is the data controller for pulsar-media.ch. For any question about this policy or about your personal data, write to [email protected].

Scope

This policy covers pulsar-media.ch only. It is written with reference to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / nLPD) and, for visitors browsing from the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What this site does — and does not — collect

Pulsar-media.ch has no contact form, no login or account system, and no analytics or advertising tracker. The site does not set first-party cookies and does not build a profile of its visitors.

If you write to us directly, by email or telephone, we process the personal data you choose to share — your name, contact details and the content of your message — for the sole purpose of answering your enquiry. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not pass it on to third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services used on this site

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — serves the typefaces used on this site. Loading a font file involves a request to Google's servers, which may process the visitor's IP address as part of that request.
  • jsDelivr / unpkg (content delivery networks) — deliver the D3.js mapping library used on the Partners and Contact pages. As with any CDN, standard technical request data (IP address, timestamp) may be logged by the provider.
  • YouTube (youtube.com) — the video interviews shown on this site load only a static preview image by default. The YouTube player — and any cookies YouTube itself sets — is only loaded if you actively click to play a video. From that point, playback is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

Legal basis

Where the GDPR applies, the processing described above relies on our legitimate interest in operating and securing this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or on your consent where you choose to interact with an embedded YouTube video.

Data retention

We keep correspondence you send us only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to meet any legal retention duty that may apply. We do not retain data collected automatically through the site, since none is.

Your rights

Under the FADP and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected].

Supervisory authority

Visitors in Switzerland may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Visitors in the European Union may contact the data protection authority of their own country of residence.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site or to applicable law. The version published on this page is the one in effect.
